About us

Developed and operatedin Germany.

We founded Active Search because new technologies excite us and we want to put them into practice. Our software supports professionals in law firms, legal departments and companies where it makes sense, with precision and high quality. That lets them focus on the work that needs their expertise.

Open, professional exchange on equal terms matters to us. We like to act as a sparring partner, challenge ideas until they are mature and turn them into a solution to a real problem. We support you from concept through implementation to operation.

Development and hosting take place entirely in Germany. Our software is GDPR-compliant and meets the requirements of the EU AI Act. After go-live, we remain your reliable partner and keep thinking ahead with you.

Today we develop and run two products of our own: AS Legal, AI-assisted case file analysis for lawyers, and k.laire, an AI-assisted system for leadership development. We also build custom software projects together with companies.

    We look at your prototype: code, architecture, data flows and security. If you do not have one yet, we sharpen the idea with you and agree on the scope. After two weeks you receive a written assessment and a plan for getting to production.

    We keep what holds up and rebuild what does not. We add tests, monitoring, access control and data protection, so your software runs reliably for your team and for your customers.
